This highly scenic ranch is situated in northeast Concho County, about 26 miles northwest of Brady. It has spectacular 20 mile views from numerous locations, it is in the “Brady Mountains”. The views are unspoiled, long vistas of green countryside with very few structures in sight.
This is some of the finest deer habitat in the Texas Hill Country. It is covered in oaks, 3 species of them. It is primarily shin oak, an excellent browse source for whitetails and much better than live oak. Access is from paved FM 2134, which is very lightly traveled. This area is rural, the closest village is 6 miles away, San Angelo is about 65 miles west. The ranch is approximately 155 miles northwest of Austin.
The area is well known for good hunting and attractive country. It has been a destination for hunters and recreational property owners for decades.
This is a pretty ranch, with an eye-appealing mix of oak trees, oak brush, and small meadow areas. It is not overly infested with cedar or cactus. It has a nice stand of quality native grasses and forbs as well, it is not overgrazed.
